Anyone know where I can find a decent aerator for around $400-500? I would prefer a tow behind or a cat0 or cat1 type.

Dosent have to be new, Im aware I wont find a new 3pt aerator for this money so a used one of these would be fine.

Any ideas?

Someone may know, here, but I'd imagine that the lawn service folks on Lawn Site would be much more familiar with suppliers and models.

I just noticed Sears has a couple of pull behind core aerators ranging from $150-250 depending on size. They are slightly less if you are a craftsman club member. They aren't 3-pt and maybe not what some would categorize as "good", but the price is right.

You might check around for rental aerators. My neighbor and I split the cost of renting one every other year when we aerator our property. It tows behind the lawn/garden tractor. They also have the walk behinds. I use the core aerator not the spike aerator (which would just mush the clay soil around but not really open it up like I want).
