With infinitely-many parts available for infinitely-many years into the future, and with infinite time and an infinite labor budget, one could keep a saw -- or anything else -- going forever. Or at least until the heat death of the Universe, whichever comes first.

I guess the bigger question is, Why would you even want to? After eight or nine hundred thousand years, I'd be ready for a nap.

I drive an 81 F150 mostly with a straight six. I plan to drive it until I can't drive. Absent a head on with somebody , what is going to stop me.

If you want to run an 041 forever I can make that happen.
Well I gotta say the 3 saws I would try to make last forever is the stihl 661 stihl 201t and the Husqvarna 51
