How thick are your orange and white goggles?

If you walked into your local Stihl dealer tomorrow and there sat a MS261 for say $549, would you buy it? Are your creamsickle goggles thick enough to swallow that pill?

Are they still that cheap? I can get a 346 with 16" B&C for $440. That's not gonna happen with this 261 though. I'm sure that will significantly affect a lot of purchase decisions too.

Awful steep for a saw that's between niches. There alwalys the 200T for tree work and 362 for stuff that doesn't need a 441 or 460.........

However if all I owned where Huskys I'd pawn thoses babys and be at that dealer ASAP!

Well I work at a dealership, so if I walked in and there was one setting here I would definately be trying to get it out back in the test log and see how it compared to my MS260. If its the saw its supposed to be, the $549 wouldn't scare me away from it.

I sold my 60cc saws. A port 50cc fills the gap nicely between the MS200 and MS440/460. I think of the 60cc saws as tweeners
