Sold Husqvarna 266 Wrap Handles

On the 266 you need the full wrap specific clutch cover if using the newer style. The wire one I believe it works fine. But there is a full wrap version of that too. I went down this road with this saw. Really wanted to use the full wrap I had but had to buy the specific clutch cover which was somewhere around $120!

This got me thinking and this last picture the wrap on it had been hit and then re-welded. Because of this it sits back further and there’s room for a standard clutch cover. Might be something to think about when fabbing this new ones up.

Do you have to buy a whole cover or just a new flag? On my personal saws all the brakes are abandoned. So it doesn’t matter anyway.
 
Whole cover. I want to say at some point the flag was an option. Regular half wrap clutch covers are much cheaper.
 
Reproductions. Copied from an OEM handle. They were made right here on the West Coast.
Used heat shrink for the grips. Comes with a new spacer block. Also remanufactured. Sorry. No screws.
