I just found out it is 789. and not 739 like i thought before...so, i would like a little more input. Would the 575 be better than a ms441? I have heard lots of bad stuff about the 441, but only a couple bad things about the 575. The 460 here is 829, so it is really more than i wanna spend, but you never know. I will definantly have a new saw before next week, cause i've all but sold 2 of mine, and that was the purpose, to get a new saw. Cause i'm poor, i gotta sell stuff to get new stuff...thats the way it is. And, i'll make a few bucks off of what i'm selling. And, i got a little tax money. So, if its gonna be a husky, it'll be a 575, but now its contending with a 441, and maybe 460, but prob not. So, what ya'll think?

If you plan on mods, get the 460. If not, get the 441. The 576xp is said to have more power but I would see how it ran in the real world.

I have read much more bad reps on the 575 than the 441. The 441 is a bad arse saw, you just need to run one to find out.

Thanks, i would love the 460 though, but i'm fine without mods. How would the 441 compare in weight to my makita? Any ideas? Or how would the 441 and 460 compare?

The 6401 looks to be 13.6lbs, that is not much more than a 440. The 441 feels like a 460 at 14.6lbs but it's got the power to back that weight up.

Why not put the 7900 topend on your 6401?

You need to run one more then a couple of mins though. The 576 is more saw then the 441 I have exp both.

Didn't need to, I've ran enough 440s and 460s to know it's got the power. That 576 looks good but it will have to prove itself as a saw that can stay together and last.

I just want something different, i don't really need anymore power, but i want a tad more. And i just want to go different. Just a little bigger and different.

So you got 789.00 for the 575

829.00 for the 460

How much for the 441

for 40 more I would grab the 460

i take the 575xp i just got mine and i really like, it kinda feels abit heavyer then the 372xp but the 575xp is a very well balanced saw its wont tire you out throught the day the 575xp have lots of power too

I can't remember for the 441, i think mid sevens. So, the 441 to 460 is kinda like the 570-575. If your gonna tote around the saw, it might as well have the power too. So if i was gonna step over the 570 to go 575, i should do the same to the 441, and go 460? Also, any ideas on weight of 575? Is it the same as a 570?

I take it your falling timber everyday. You don't see the 441 up here falling timber.

LOL, nope. I cut a few trees and know when a saw has the power it needs. I don't know why there are no 441s up your way and could care less, maybe the guys have not ran 'em to find out.

Why all the hate towards the 441?

i think the reason the 575 and the 441 get bashed is because they are compared to saws like the 372 and the 440 which are legends and have proved there self.
