I always thought I was doing something wrong when ice fishing, now it has been confirmed. I was fishing for the wrong species, dang nab it.

I've been fishing the wrong lake also! No robins here, we still got 30" of ice on the lakes, covered by 24" of snow minimum, and the low yesterday was minus -25f. Spring is no where in sight here yet.
