I’ve looked around for information on this saw, not too much can be found. I know it’s closely related to the 572xp. Anyone else here had experience with this saw? I’m excited to run it this weekend.

It looks like a 70cc 562 to me. My 562 has been nothing but a joy to run, except for the time when it smoked like a freight train and I thought I'd blown it up. If it's anything like a 562, you'll love it.
I agree it does looks very similar to a 562xp. It is a bit taller and a little longer than my 562xp. I love my 562xpw, I bought the 565 because I had an itch for a slightly bigger saw for back up.

Case looks magnesium but doesn't specify on the spec page. Is it plastic or metal? Notice any other differences from it and the 562s?

I've recently been thinking of stepping up my 562 falling saw to something smaller than the 390xp already in the arsenal, after the 562 strugglled to pull a 28" through some big, knotty dead madrone.

It’s magnesium. I did some reading about it. Seems like it is very close to the 572xp. Many of the parts are the same. I still haven’t had a chance to run it yet.
