logs for firewood

I am trying to locate a company in the stockton nj area that sells logs for firewood. i purchased an outdoor wood furnace and am looking for whole logs to be delivered so i can cut up for my furnace. anyone with any info. would be appreciated. fyi stockton is about 10 min. north of new hope pa just on the jersey side.

Try to hook up with a tree service company in your area. Believe me they will be happy to get rid of wood that other wise they would have to pay to get rid of. I got about 12 cords of wood free from a local tree guy. One thing though, you can't be picky you gotta take the good with the bad meaning they will deliver some very big rounds or lengths just be ready to work with them. So far all wood has been Red or White Oak so I have no complaints.

I would try moving this thread to the Firewood & Heating section might get better response. IMHO
