Seems we have the Makita saws in NZ now which are being marketed as a rebranded Dolmar. Does anyone know anything about makita saws? I'm looking at the model DCS4610. Any info about this saw would be much appreciated.

The DCS-4610 is a Dolmar PS-45.

@ sawtroll - does ugly have to mean cheap :msp_biggrin: LOL
this is the only way these saw will look good
Makita chain saws are made by Dolmar. Most of the saws are still made in Germany, but that small one, I am not so sure about it.
Oh :help: - how fugly and cheap-looking can a chainsaw get.....:bang::bang:
That was a cool stunt, but it has to be a bit cumbersome to start 24 saw engines before you can drive....

From my understanding DOLMAR is owned by MAKITA , they bought them out some years ago
