MS 361 price

How much for a new MS 361 and what do they weight with a 20" bar ?
Also are they easy starting. I'm 66 and have lost muscle mass due to illness.

I've seen them new in the TP from $600 to $750, but mostly in the $700-$750 range

362 was $750 new last year at the dealer.

The one I had, which was the Arctic model, I paid around $350 I believe. Was a nice saw, got stolen from my wood yard .

They weigh about 12.5 pounds with fuel mix and bar oil, power head only.

The 361 was discontinued, new old stock does come up from time to time. They were mainly prized as the last of the pre-EPA saws. No cats, fully adjustable carb and 4 ports. Hutlz makes a 361 clone kit and if you see a new saw be sure to ask questions. Used 361 in good shape go for 450 to 550 in my area WA. They do have a compression release. My usual start procedure is on a cold start is 2 pulls on full choke then flip it off. I mostly do trail work, unless I know I have a tree over 14' to go after, I take my smaller saw.

If you're want low weight and easy to start, just get a 241 before they're all gone.
