Ms441c auction sale score

Got this ms441c from an online auction. Description read stihl and never had any pictures of the model number, but I could read magnum on the top cover. Paid $240 usd. Needs a new plug wire. Not bad for 2016 saw

It was, threw a new spark plug in, ignition wire, and did the mtronic reset. Had to do the newer reset procedure, and she runs like a top

The "newer Reset" will not work on the MS 441 C, because it is not M-Tronic V.3. The only thing what it did now when you let it run on full throttle was, it tuned itself to the right performance, but it is no reset. Only the old method will work there.

I wasn't sure, so I did the 90sec reset first then did the newer 30/30 reset. The saw is epa 2016 so figured I'd just do both.

After the calibration, make some cuts (5-6) through a thick piece of wood and it will tune itself. You may notice that it runs better with every cut you do.

It definitely did after a few cuts. Runs like a top. I was skeptical about the mtronic at first but wow what a nice saw
