I could be wrong, but.......
That sure looks like some QUAD PORT humps to me.
Anyway, the 461 has a higher power rating than the 7910, and it looks like the 7910 also has lost the weight advantage the 7900 had over the 460. :msp_wink:
What year was the 046 introduced??
The 7900 and 7910 weigh the same according to a well respected AS Dolmar dealer who put brand versions of both on the same scale
The German Stihl site suggests 4 transfer ports:
2-MIX-Technik - sparsam & durchzugsstark | STIHL |
Not that this animation is necessarily accurate - the combustion chamber looks a bit weird.
Yes, looks like the 7900 had gained a lot of weigh since the early days....
That weight matches every 7900 I have or have had. When were they introduced?
i'm a bit slow but is that a wire and ifso whats it for

Unfortunately for us, 1400€ for a product usually translates to about 1400$, even if the rate would be 1: 1.45... But nowadays its about 1: 1.23 so €1400 is $1720.
But as i said, that doesn't mean the saw is going to have that price in US.
