Muffler mod on a husky 460

Has anyone put a modified muffler on one of these saws. I bought this saw 2 months ago. It has worked well, despite the reviews on this website. Just wondered if a mod would really bring it to life.

Just go ahead and do it. Richen up the high speed screw after. You will see reduced cut times. To answer your question about every saw known to man has been muff modded by someone on here.
