Oh any one have any idea how old it is?from the serial?
That is a limbing saw, homeowner in my opinion, not going to burry it thinking it is going to come up smiling. 38cc ?

yep it is 38 cc ...your probably right guess i should think of it as that... i try to really bury it to get the first tune....could be the fins on the recoil sides are packed i dont fully clean it till im done fixing everything wrong on them....thats more in the 50 cc range....That is a limbing saw, homeowner in my opinion, not going to burry it thinking it is going to come up smiling. 38cc ?

hello i recently bought a poulan pro 295 a later model of the bay saw was sold as a runner it runs but does not oil took apart the oiler cleaned it took out the oil pick up line cleaned it everything looks right except seems like the pick up is not making a decent seal ... i looked up the part for a few hours at the different ipls and it seems the new poulan pro 4620 comes with a one piece pick up that slides over the spindle instead of the 2 piece mine has.. I ordered one it says it fits husqvarna and all the poulan of this line.... Do any of ya all know if this was a problem and why they went to a one piece rubber pick up?? hope it fixes it....On this one it is 2 pieces....i will let ya all know i also ordered a new pump even though the one on it seems to have no damage...would appreciate any input everything has been cleaned.... even took the plate off and put it back on....ran with no bar took oiler apart blew it out and shot wd 40 in it blew it out again if i blow air in the hole oil pours out? here is the pic of the one i have coming....View attachment 668857
i think it has other issues would not fire over today i saw a puddle of fuel looks like where the fuel line goes on its cracked .... and its oiling way to much ...i worked on the pp295 today and it seems to be fixed....How i spent my evening....it runs and starts but 3 hard cuts in 12 inch seasoned oak and when i shut it off she was smokin....i cleaned the clutch side maybe the flywheel side was bad as the clutch new fuel lines oil line oil filter fuel filter air filter slapped a good 14 inch on it the bar on it was to much....cleaned rebuilt the carb... it seems to be oiling to much???? i will have to check the cotter pin above the clutch.....im running 40-1 red armor and have it as fat as i can so it will clean up in the cut almost to fat... any ideas turned it on its sides it did not run away.....should i go 32-1 on this older saws i wanted this one to use but if it cant handle 3 back to back hard cuts?????vI have to say i am frustrated....i will break it down one last time both sides and blow every thing out.....the clutch side i cleaned.....any way here are pics i have a 190 pp on the way hope it can handle more then 3 hard cuts....
yea they can be stingy but i had one do this before the cotter pin was stuck and it just pissed it out..... you dont see many 235 saws ive only seen one other so i had to have it.....i have a 190 coming and i have 2 pp180 a pp225 most of a pp200 and i think some where in the back i have a s23pp it was running but i have not seen it in a year but i know i have it......plus all kinds of 2300 micros craftsman versions etc im done till i find a pp236... i have the craftsman version of it and solf the 2400 green version i could kick my self it still had the sticker my ac guy has it i may fix a micro and get it before he kills it......Most of the time folks complain it not oiling enough.
