Ran across an old saw today. Probably 1940s. Small in size. No Name. What caught my eye was the oil reservoir. It was in the handle. I think I remember someone talking about a similar saw in one of the past threads, but I could not find it. If any one has any information about the thread or saw please let me know. Thanks Tom

I do not have any pictures. I saw it at a business in Tupelo. He said that it had American motors on the motor. I looked, but saw nothing except Oregon on the bar. Open side on the clutch side like an old Clinton. Teardrop shape looking at it from side with metal gas tank mounted on top. Old type tillotson carb. If some one can not help me determine what it is I will go back and get a picture. Tom

Does the saw look like this one, This model does not have
the oil tank in the bar, There is a mono that looks just like this
that has the tank in the bar. Year of this saw is 1953-54

The one I saw Is probably a mono saw. It has the same exhaust, throttle trigger, open clutch, carb. setup and handle on the bottom. Thanks for the help. Tom
