Please help with tree identification and toxicity?

hello all, I just discovered the forum. we are moving into a new house with large yard and there are many trees and shrubs to learn about. Most are simple evergreens, aspens or things I'm not concerned about. I've reached out to area arborists asking for someone to come over for a consultation to tell us what we have and assess their condition but have not yet heard back from anyone.

Our concern is several large trees that provide the primary privacy for the yard. they seem to have thousands of perhaps small berries and I don't know what this tree is. We have two small dogs and I'm trying to confirm what it is and that the berries, or maybe they are seed pods, not sure, are not toxic to the dogs. hopefully i've attached photos here but not sure if it worked. thanks to anyone who can help.

Looks like a hawthorn. Closely related to crab apples. Nontoxic but sour and can cause indigestion if eaten in large quantities.
