031av 028wb need parts free:rock:

I bought a PM 610 and a Mcculloch 3516 for $60. Both needed carbs adjusted and chains sharpened. Sold the 3516 for $60 and kept the 610. Barely used, still has original bar and chain. So basically the saw was free right?

Saw a CL ad for three items. 026, 031av, and a Homelite Yard Broom. $50 for all three. The guy even delivered them to within 4 miles of my house. One pump bulb , three fuel lines, 2 oz. of simple green , and some elbow grease made the yard broom look and run like brand new. 031 came with 16" bar and chain, great compression, good spark, but sounded like something was loose and rattleing inside. I just finished cutting the loose baffle out of the muffler. Should be a near museum piece for the price of a carb kit. I'm betting that baffle broke when the saw was almost new because it has almost no wear on it. Even the metal screen air filter is pristine! 026 had been straight gassed. Needed P&C, bearings, and seals. All else is in great shape. I already have it sold and it is still scattered all over my bench (neatly scattered in rows and columns on new shop towels). Parts just arrived so the reconstruction is about to begin:D:D

Husqvarna 350, 55, & 268 for $100.

The 350 was scored, and I sold it.

The 55 was used as a parts saw for another 55 that is in the shop.

The 268 needed a carb cleaning & rebuilding, $30 in small parts & pieces, and a new bar & chain.

I Sold the 268 for $300.

The one on the right.

That what I tell my wife every time I buy a multi-unit package deal!!!. We needed a power blower for our own use and the Yard Broom is worth well over $50. So my other two saws are free! Chaaaaa...Ching!!
That's what I tell my wife also!
