Redmax isn't REPLACING the 5000 with the 5300 they are merely offering it along side of it. The OP said HIS DEALER would be replacing them.

Sorry if what I posted is wrong but I was told by the dealer that they were replacing it. I suppose even a dealer could be wrong I checked out the site too.

The 5000 is not long for this world.


The 3800 has already gone bye-bye..... got the last 50 we will be able to get on the way right now and the distributor had to search long and hard for those. Said they found 20 in one warehouse and 30 in another and after that there will be no more.

at a red max dealer yesterday,the 5300 was 539.00 here.sounds like a sweet deal to me.husky,jred equivalent a lot pricier than that.
