I have never seen any Remy gear drive parts for sale as such. You'll have the best luck with parts saws and lots of luck with that. The best I can suggest is to find a Poulan gear drive sprocket. They also use a 1/2" square center and are as thin. Add a couple filed out fender washers and you'll be set.

Upped the Deere 23 count to two.

At the expense of my beater SL-55. Used him for crankcase and cylinder.

Shortened the skirt on a Homelite XL-925 piston. Worked great.

Cosmetic difference between PL and SL models.

Never see a replacement on evilbay.

Mike works but it is strictly a shelf queen for that reason.

My move would be to find a Tilly with conventional choke and bush the 'primer' bulb hole for a standard rod.

I suppose there is some way to rig one of the snap in purge bulbs to work.

Just how exactly the 'Y' fitting there is ported/checked will need studying.

Works better now.
