My Son has just turned 16 years old. I’d like to find a location that teaches chainsaw safety in the middle Tennessee area. I’d like for us both to take a class like this. I’ve used a chainsaw 30+ years (self taught) but I’m sure this would be a good education for me as well.
Does anyone know of something like this?

Sorry, never clicked on your link. I happened to find them one day and just remembered BC Fallers. You’re correct, they’re good, they shoot some myths down.
 
It's hard to find good chainsaw training, because many dealers and others, are worried about liability. They will sell you the saw, and some will show you how to start it, but that's it for most.

Sometimes, volunteer groups that do storm clean up, habitat restoration, or trail maintenance offer classes for their members.
