Yeah I've pretty much decided against getting a 660. You make a great point. I fully expect to be impressed with the ported 461. Then I'll likely work to improve my smaller saws
should I sell/trade my year old 461 for a 660?

I think you made the right move. A ported 461 will be far more versatile than a 660, and it should cut normal wood much faster.
660s are great with a 36"+ bar, but how often do you use one of those?
The lighter weight is a lot more pleasant to deal with when felling, and I hear ported 461s produce tons of torque.

I have a 461 with advanced timing, mm, unlimited coil, and limiters removed from carb and it runs!! Its in Tennessee
Getting a cc specialty handpiece up in the cylinder as we speak!! I cant wait!!!

I really don't NEED a 461 but after seeing them, the comments about them and having held a few, I really am wanting one... It might be nice to have another decent displacement creamsicle...

LMAO, 5 minutes ago it was the ported 372xp craze (of which I am a proud participant)... That Stumpbroke is MEAN... I still may take a hard look at the 461.
