Size of pipe ??

What size of pipe are you using from the boiler to the pump.

I have 3/4 inch and I am wondering if I have too small a hose.

My run is short 12 feet from boiler to pump.

Mine are 1 inch lines, but 3/4 are fine too. Are those lines outside exposed to the elements? If so you could use some pipe insulation.

I used 3/4" also, but see alot of 1" pipe used for other's setups. With that short of distance I would think 3/4 would be enough. Agree with the concern of pipe freezing, nothing is in the ground?

The pipes are insulated when exposed to the outside. The boiler is actually in a enclosed trailer, kept warm with the heat off the chimney.
