Bone stock brand new type 1

3.4 oz less. There's another 3/4 of a pound somewhere! The only aluminum bolts I've found on it are the case bolts. Every other bolt I've checked is steel.

So the porting is identical but these are supposed to have more power than the original, no? So where do they derive the extra power from?

As mentioned earlier, stock squish was .036". I turned a .020" popup on the piston and set squish to .018". That means it should have close to 2° lower exhaust and 4° lower intake. Port timing is currently as follows:

Exhaust 106°
Transfers 122°
Intake 78°

The exhaust and transfers are within 1° of the previous version and the intake is 3° lower...maybe. I'm not sure if the previous numbers were before or after machine work.

Previous numbers were as follows:

Exhaust 107°
Transfers 121°
Intake 75°

When are we going to see some aluminum shavings?:)
She's all back together and done. It fired up and runs perfectly. I'm anxious to get it back in the wood tomorrow! I'll be doing comparisons with the 346XP and MS241C. I also hope to run 63PS on all three of them.
