Lol so you will sell it to me if its junk..... gee thanks J/K. I dont need one by any means. i just keep my eye out for bigger saws. one day i will get a mill and want a big horse to turn it.

I'll keep it really nice for you. I should ask my dealer if he can get me a carrying case for it. LOL
The 076 fit's perfectly in a one of those Over sized milk crates.

I have to say my small collection of 076's that will still be my go to saws. I really just want a saw that I can count on to finish out the day if the 076's are having a bad day.

I might have one for sale if it's a big piece of poo. I don't have room for anymore saws that can't put in a day's work.

you will love it, if you don't then you can send it to me and I will...lol

run 3 or 4 tanks through it before going too hard on it milling. Stihl say it takes between 10 and 30 tanks to run in a saw properly, but I never had a prob running them hard after 3 or 4, well actually straight out of the box for that matter....lol:hmm3grin2orange:

Well I don't have a lot of expectations at this point. :hmm3grin2orange:
I'm sure it will be a step up from my ms180.

So they look cool but do they actually work better. I wonder what the dealer wants for them?

Do you still use the felt band around the outside ?.

The last few times I used it I didn't even run a filter.

Well Gink I priced a 3120 yesterday and he wanted $1650. I might get to demo the 3120 at a show in the fall milling a big log. He said he could sell it to me cheaper after it's used. So I get to try both of the big dogs out.

I got the 880 for a lot better price. It's not all about the price. My stihl dealer has been pretty good to me over the last couple years. The other stihl dealers treat me like I'm bothering them to order parts. I most of it is because the are still using microfiche still and it takes them forever to find parts numbers.

So here it is. I'm gonna eat some lunch and head over to the mill and make some firewood.

This saw is no where near running lean. It wasn't even cleaning out wearing a 42 inch bar.

Oh i forgot, he even gave me a hat. :hmm3grin2orange:

I have a HD2 filter on it's way.

Thats a Ms180 for size.

I've only picked one up at a dealer, you either have pythons for biceps or will have using that baby to cut firewood. It dang sure is one impressive sized saw, hope it does the job for you. My oldest son would love to have one, just so he could say he had the biggest saw in our area. I had to veto that idea.lol Congratulations and new saw rep!
