Having awful trouble with this restoration. Got a NOS rear handle to replace the cracked one but cannot find a starter handle anywhere. It is just impossible repairing these old clunkers. And the decal on the clutch cover is torn. I think I'm gonna send this one to landfill.

Al.

I have a starter handle that will work. I'll pay for shipping to avoid you paying the disposal fee.

You guys are killing me. My Aunt Bee, (yep really) was one of the finest ladies I ever knew........Alzheimer's took her mind away. Saddest thing I ever saw.
Alzheimer's took my grandfather on my dad's side so I only have a few good memories of him... :(

We just finished a funeral day. My wife's grandmother had decided she is tired and wanted to join her husband and maker. God I hope I go in my sleep.
Forgot to give you my condolences the other day when i stopped... sorry :msp_sad:

Mitch, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

Here's a glimmer of hope on the horizon-

Alzheimer's Treatment Shows Promise in Small, 3-Year Trial - Yahoo! News

I had an uncle in the early stages decide he would control his final exit. He shot himself with a .22 on a Sunday morning. The first shot didn't kill him and he did it again with more success. My brother and I (lovingly) kid that he forgot how to shoot. It was a shame to see him beginning to decline. He was a person that took every vitamin and supplement known to man, ate healthy, and exercised. The worst part was that my aunt found him behind the barn.

That is so wrong! :msp_scared: :hmm3grin2orange:

Oh, not necessarily. I'm sure that everyone has seen the thread that Darin started titled "in house fighting", and I felt that nothing would bring the AS family closer together quite like some good ol' fashion cannibalism.

I know it's a bit quick for a "bump", but we're already on a new page, and I'm still looking for a Shindaiwa 575 clutch cover.

Finishing up the last 372 in the parts bin and I hit a snag.:dunno: :msp_ohmy:
