I have a Vermont Castings Vigilant (1980) that has a single piece Fireback. It has some pretty large cracks in the Fireback. The rest of the stove is in great shape but looks to be overburned based on the cracks on the fireback. Does anyone know if these can be replaced/repaired and where if so, I can get a replacement piece? I have seen they eventually went to double piece backs. Can I substitute those in place of the single piece?
