Some kind of weevil covered in debris? We've had hundreds of weevils sunning themselves on the north side of our house. Really freaked my wife out when my daughter showed her "all the bugs". They were everywhere.

I hear that they travel in pairs and mate for life and if one is killed its mate will get revenge. Don't worry though because if its mate finds you and bites you, you'll have at least 20 minutes to get to the ER and be treated with anti-venom.
