How many are stock?I used to think that way, but have since got rid of the 70cc saws and have 3-4 60s' now...

You know what works for you, as I do for me. Different uses & needs.I have two 60s that I regularly use (a nice 359 and a 262xp). They don't replace a 70, nor do I think they are a noteworthy upgrade For Most People from a good 50.
Just my opinion, not trying to ruffle feathers.
Just one, a 562xp. A factory hot rod it is... That said, the ported 357 sees much more use.How many are stock?
My stock 357 is nearly always on the truckJust one, a 562xp. A factory hot rod it is... That said, the ported 357 sees much more use.
357 has become a favorite here. They are nice stock, but are an animal when ported! My stock 357 is nearly always on the truck
The ported 361 is for that357 has become a favorite here. They are nice stock, but are an animal when ported!
The topend is the same with the exception of the transfer covers. The crank stuffers are the biggest difference.I have a 555 with a 562xp top end and transfer covers ill try and get video tomorrow.
And they add more mass? The topend is the same with the exception of the transfer covers. The crank stuffers are the biggest difference.
They reduce crankcase volume, thereby increasing transfer velocity. And they add more mass?
Good saw, but This 357 has eat a few ported 361s'.The ported 361 is for that
Ya. I had that conversation with a few folks. But they swear the 361 walks on water.Good saw, but This 357 has eat a few ported 361s'.
Kind of like a 346 eh?Ya. I had that conversation with a few folks. But they swear the 361 walks on water.

Then, the 555 is the one! Most of these guys do not consider physical condition of the one who is to use the saw.My saws are all stock and my new one will be too. Weight is a big deal for me.....really bad back!
Thanks, NYH1.
This. But I would also add, go handle the saw and make sure you like it because you may get your hands on it and think its bigger/smaller/etc. then you would like. We can always tell you what WE think is best but what's best for me may not be best for others. Then, the 555 is the one! Most of these guys do not consider physical condition of the one who is to use the saw.
That is why I mentioned the 562. More power in the same size package and only slightly heavier (something like 1/4 lb per husky specs), ability to run large mount and power for 24" if necessary. Both worth looking at IMO. Can't go wrong with either though! Then, the 555 is the one! Most of these guys do not consider physical condition of the one who is to use the saw.
