First saw ran was a Remington MityMite with a 12" bar in 1975 that my dad bought at Grants on clearance for $66. We cut enough wood to heat our house for 2 years with that little saw before we got another one just like it used for $25. The first saw I bought was a Stihl 017 I used to cut beams with while building a log house.
By this ad, I think Dad got a good price. I know we sure worked the pi$$ out of that little saw.

The first saw I ran was a L65 husky my dad bought new,we used it to cut fire wood for the campers at the camp grounds my parents owned.The first saw I owned and bought was a husky 162SE got it for logging pulpwood,one of the best saws I have owned.My brother-in-law still ownes my second 162.
