While attending the monthly unclaimed freight auction this morning I saw the had some Edsal shelving listed. For those unaware, Edsal makes high end, heavy duty shelving, carts and storage cabinets that are sold through W.W. Grainger and others.

I threw a bid at them and ended up as the winner. Upon closer examination I discovered that it was not shelving in the cartons, but rather workbench tops. They measure 96" long, are 36" deep and are 1.5" thick and must weigh 80-90 pounds each. Grainger shows the complete kit (with legs) to sell for around $375 (the legs appear to be $55).

While I have the back stringers I do not have the legs. However, you could simply construct a wood base and put these tops on them. If anyone is close to Richmond, VA and wants one, just PM me. Due to the size and weight I think shipping would be expensive. I am asking $20 each and have 5 to sell.

I can use a couple...You coming up to Springfield any time soon. LOL If not I'll come down in a week or so. Wish I'd known earlier as I'm going through Richmond on Saturday and Monday but don't have the trailer at home.

If you are able to grab one you should!!!!

Or you can try building one that seems like it has taken a month!! LOL!

I have received payment for two and someone else has spoken for the rest. Thanks for all the interest and responses, shows when you price something cheap it will move.
