Work Saw Specialist
Nice clean saws to work on, that's a fine thing ain't it?
First things first. Gotta find a place for some graffiti.
In the next two shots I wanted to show the stock transfer ports and how I mark them for cutting.
I clean the area to be marked with starting fluid and color it with a marker, then use the base gasket as a template.
This is pretty much the shape and size I'm staying with on the lowers. Here's the trying something different. I keep saying that hogging out the lowers does nothing on a work saw.....so I'm not cutting this 346 nearly as much as I have on several others I've done. I'm also trying a different shape on the cylinder walls in this area.
You can also see the stock uppers here.
If anyone is wondering about that finish it's from a diamond burr. A worn out one is much smoother and will be used for the final finish.
