Makita/Dolmar DCS 510 Clutch Removal Tool

I am having issues tracking one down, the one Makita sent me has 2 prongs but I need the one with 3. Any idea who would have one in stock?

Might have to end up making one.

Are you trying to open it with a hammer and a chisel? Aluminium chisel is not bad, it does not damage the clutch.

I bought one for a husky 562 at Bailey's. But since someone on the site said he opened with a hammer and chisel, I tried and it works very well on the 560 and on a 346XP. And it's free.

At worst, fabricates a tool yourself, that's what I did at the beginning to my 346. A steel band, three screws, and it's good!

in case anybody else has the same issue, a mallet and chisel. Quick tap clockwise remember and off it came. New oil pump installed and operational. Not sure what was wrong with the old one, looked OK.

If you are able to fab something up give this a try.
I used a coupling nut welded to a piece of cold roll with 3 3/16" round stock.
