Husqvarna 281 help needed.

Putting the tank on today but I'm having trouble with the two mounts on the front of the tank. I got the big spring on the front but no mounts on the tank and the Ipl don't show any. Puzzled.

Jimmy, That's a seventh mount set up but you are missing pieces. Here is what it should look like secured to the bar/tank mount. Hope this helps.

All there mounts between the case and the tank. My tank looks like there's no threads in it. Does the chain catcher screw into a mount. Your pix looks there is ????

Yes, The chain catcher attaches with the isolator screw. The seventh mount bracket slips under the grab handle mount and uses the slightly longer grab handle screws. I may have an IPL showing this. I'll have to check later tonight. I'm going to be selling the saw used in pic's or I would help you out with the parts. Sorry my man.
