    I burn whatever is cheapest, last year I never even put a stick of wood in the furnace, I sold my wood for $225 a cord and paid a $200 average gas bill over the winter, sold the 5 cords I would have burned and paid my gas bill for the winter, this year I am burning up red oak and saving the $200...
