stihl 261 and 362 crank problems

Clutch Bearing problems: Another possible cause is they are applying chain brake and letting saw idle for extended period of time. Out here they tell the chainsaw operators to apply the chain brake when moving from one area to another, instead of shutting saw off and then restarting it.

    455 RancherII Auto Tune

I didn't pay alot of attention to the carb, just the autotune setup, we'll know more about it in a few days, as I will check it over with a fine tooth comb!

:clap:SawTroll close but no cigar, its for a Jonsered 2055 (46mm bore) 2054 (44mm bore), you are also correct it is not even in the same game as a 254XP. :givebeer:

Hell sometimes crap is still falling out of trees, up to a week later. Thats where you wish for some strong winds to clear out any crap still hanging up in the leave trees.

Where to purchase a Husky 562?

Terry: It does not matter where the saw is purchased, you are buying it as a gift for him. As long as he has proof of purchase (doesen't have to have purchase price on it) any Husqvarna dealer should honor the warranty on it.

    Husky 359 P/C Combo

Yes thats sure as hell an aftermarket P/C assy, I know for sure as I just finished 2 359's replacing the P/C assys. I can not or will not use aftermarket parts, since I am a servicing dealer. It's against the rules!

    Building a 390XP Monster

Brad: I don't know if this is the problem, but worthwhile to check it out. That same clutch is used on the 395's, so it should't be slipping. Just my 2 cents worth! :msp_thumbup:

Husky 365 special real or china ?

That is correct, the 01263 is what I was refering to, that would be the 1,263 unit built that week, and I have never yet to see that high of a number of units built in 1 week. I have seen as high as 400 units in 1 week, but never a 1,000. Hope that clears up any confusion.

    Swedish People Only!

I have a number of these clearing saws out in the field now with the forestry crews, they use them for clearing fire lines and thinning smaller trees in the forest. Some prefer the 345 series while others prefer the 335 (now a 336), and guess what these replaced? STIHLS These crews use them and...

    562xp Trouble

From the Husqvarna Service School, this is very correct, the 555 & 562's have a totally different AT system. I was under the impression that the only time you needed to reprogram the saw, was when you change the carb. I don't think I was asleep:msp_sleep: during that part of the session, but...
