Those are carolton brand bar and chain but get them while you can. Powercare is homedepot's brand name they are now having the bar and chains manufactured in china and imho they are not as good.

Did you actually idle the saw through a tank of gas? If so i have heard of saws overheating because they are not pulling enough air at an idle to keep them cool. Just my 2 cents those with much more experience than me please correct me if i am wrong

I always vote for my brand but will never Knock a dolmar or stihl either. Try to demo what you like and get a feel for each saw and then try to feel out the dealer. Will he be reliable and honest. A good dealer can make a world of difference in the relationship of you and your saw

Your correct the turbo name has nothing to do with air being forced into the intake. Its a catchy name meant to make you look twice.

In my opinion there saws are not that great. Trimmers on the other hand are top notch. Used to run there trimmers in a lawncare business i worked for. Had one redmax saw and hated it. always ended up using the old 023 stihl ( i think it was an 023) been a couple of years
