261c-m cylinder on a 241c-m??

Hi! Just purchased a 241c-m with a scored piston/cylinder. Didn’t realize they don’t make aftermarket replacements yet, nor is it a common head found on eBay. Local dealer wants $225 for an OEM replacement. Curious if a 261c-m cylinder/piston would work as they have aftermarket relacements and good used ones on eBay. Thanks for the help!!
