Picked up a Jred 2065 for super cheap and i'm wondering if anyone has put a 48mm 262 piston in one and cut a pop up just like how you can with the 372 and 268 piston.

Has anyone done it? Can it be done?

Dreaming... I don't know about that. If the 262 piston is the same design as the 268 with just a smaller bore then it should work. It would be the exact same swap as the 372 with 268 piston just a 48mm setup instead of the 50mm. I don't know a thing about the 262, so hopefully someone who does can chime in.

I've been wanting a jred for awhile and at first I was planning to swap a 372 top end on and port it but if the 262 piston swap would work it'll be cheap bolt on power for my new fire wood saw.
