So I got my 372 fired up today and it doesn’t want to tune correctly. I spray carb spray on the clutch side and it stalls out. Does this been seals? Thanks guys

Sure sounds like it.
Is this an extra torque model?
The earlier ones have been known to wipe out the bearing fit in the case on the clutch side.

Yeah I’m gonna tear it apart and put metal cage bearings, seals and when I got it down there was no oring on pto side. Bearings have very little movement but gonna split and change anyways. The saw was used by a local firewood guy and his guys run these things hard. Fuel and oil is all I think they know.
Also got a 395 from the same guy, tore it down and it needs a p&c, got it on the way. But I threw it back together with old parts and did a vac test and the leak is the decomp. It was bleeding down so I took it out and plugged the hole and no more leak. Gonna finish this saw first since bottom end is good.
How is everyone plugging of the decomp holes?

Aftermarket or from the dealer, Stihl or Husky are the same size.
