If cost is an issue I say rebuild that saw with hutzl parts and run the snot out of it.

If you like the saw which I think you will you can always upgrade the top end with an OEM down the road.

I have 2 saws right now that have hutzl top ends on them, the first one has gone through at least 20 litres of fuel this summer and not a kick of trouble with it. For the money I have in that top end I'd say it's pretty much paid for itself.

Hutzl cylinders in my experience do need some massaging to get good power out of them but otherwise they seem reliable.
