Some of you may have already fired up the wood stove. In past years I might have also. But this has been a strange year.
In February we set all time records for rain. No snow in February like we normally get, but somewhere in the neighborhood of 10-15 inches of rain. Then it turned off cold for a few weeks, but with no Spring, May jumped immediately to Summer. Just last week I heard on the news that Tennessee has had a record rainfall year, but this week they started burn bans due to dry conditions. I am still getting peppers, okra, and tomatoes from my garden. Then on my way home from picking up the kids at school today I snapped this picture. I hope everyone is planning on going as swimsuit models for Halloween.
