Hello fellow arborists,

For those of you that have a DHT log splitter we wanted to let you know that we are taking pre-orders on our stroke reducer kit. It comes with everything you need....just bolt up and go to work. Check out the brief video in action:

Pre-order here: (shipping in Aug)

Fits all 22, 27, 28, 35 ton models.

Thanks,
DHT

Looks familiar.

Since that video, I built a more elegant lever set up.

The pinned return rod setup that DHT came up with is the way I would go on the next one though.

Let me check on Monday. I believe some shipped already.

I just wanted to say, it was good to see you at the EXPO, you guys were really splitting some wood, that was quite a pile you had stacked up there!!

I'm still shaking my head over that nice walnut I saw you splitting! lol

Not being critical at all, but curious how the pivot point on the trip arm that actually trips the valve lever is holding up under a lot of use. I couldn't really tell from the video, but the pivot looks like it's just a drilled hole in the rod. Does it have a bushing or something as well?

Unfortunately we have not started shipping yet. We decided to make one more tweak to the design so they better fit all models.
