very heavy stuff. Doesn’t look like the cedar im used to. Looks like it will have a nice grain what do U think? The bigger one is about 21” at the big end I think. It was tad over 6 foot but it was way to heavy couldn’t really budge it. So I cut it at just over 4’. I was tossing around ash this size lol. Bark looks like spruce. Cedar is reddish wood. And not heavy.

Hose off the bark and give us a better photo, hard to tell with all the mud.

You loading that all by yourself? Is Sasquatch your brother?

On second look, strange bark. Surface looks a little like our PNW Spruce but the thickness is throwing me off. Certainly not the cedar we have up here on the Olympic Peninsula.

Might be some good looking slabs with all those knots and dark center. Mill it and take some pics!

Look like cedar now?or pine?havent sharpend the chain in a while, man it cut like butter lol. Gota stay on top of that I guess. Almost got the hole bar used up, actually had to pull the mill back and take the 171 and cut off about 1.5”, I’m pretty happy with it might go back is 4’ little short for a table this wide or ok? He has bigger ones but not sure how to get them in the truck lolACDC37D2-93D6-41DB-96F4-39A3F81A7208.jpeg 8BAD0AB5-09B3-473D-A665-720575587608.jpeg3EA38377-EEF5-4E18-8B43-FC7433D78B17.jpeg 4040304F-00A6-41A3-A13A-EEC83CA01BDD.jpeg22FDFE0C-AC30-4D0A-AEE7-D60EE3CAFF16.jpeg

That is going to be some nice looking wood when finished!

You may have to slab in place where you find the wood, then load. Or take a truck load of strong lads for helpers!

You need a bigger bar!
