It could be my ticket to the magnesium frame world.

You have anything to say about it; good, bad, happy about it, not happy about it?
What would be the alternatives having a magnesium frame and a minimum of 2kw?

Exactly the same question I asked myself two years ago :)

~45 cc
Dolmar PS420SC 2,2kW 4,9kg
Husqvarna 543xp 2,2kW 4,5kg
Stihl MS241 C-M 2,3kW 4,5kg

~50 cc
Echo CS-490ES 2,1kW 4,8kg
Husqvarna 545 II 2,7kW 5,3kg
Dolmar PS5105C 2,8kW 5,4kg
Echo CS-501SX 2,6kW 4,7kg
Husqvarna 550xp II 3,0kW 5,3kg
Stihl MS261 C-M v2 3,0kW 4,9kg

I was almost decided for PS420, but the dealer told me there are problems with delivery of spare parts from vendor, so I changed my mind. And I don't regret ;-)

Ok, thanks.

I know both power and weight can be better but I'm not too picky about that, I'm thinking more if it's a good saw.
It seems I could get one barely used at about 45% of the cost of a new one, the owner probably regret he didn't buy a 5105 I guess.
So it's not like I can pick and choose from the list, it's this one that came my way at a cost I can afford.
