I would like help identifying my new to me hedge clipper attachment. It looks like a Stihl by the look of the blades as they look like the same shape as my old stihl articulating attachment and it has a grease fitting.

If it was a Stihl it should have T27 torx & not hex fasteners. It looks old, perhaps look inside the coupling neck & see what shaft connection it uses ie square, star 5pt/7pt. I'd clean/sharpen blades and clean old grease from g/box & replace with fresh.

It's an echo attachment from an echo she-1700 shaft hedge clipper that I believe needs some gears that I fear maybe stripped out. I found my gear box on ereplacement parts.

Thanx again for the help.
