1.5 on the low, idle is set just like a regular engine. 2.5 on the H should get it so rich that you can easily hear the exhaust note burble, then make successive cuts while turning it in 1/4 turn at a time until it just cleans out and runs with a crisp, sharp note IN THE CUT. Stop there, may have to readjust the idle.

Strato poulans are a different breed, my 5020s need 2 plus turns on the high and more on the low screw.

It should at least run at 1.5 turns out.

these carbs are notorious for metering lever height issues resulting in flooding and wonky idle
