Need Help ASAP

I just moved in to my new boat, and need to do some work to spruce the place up. My Chinese made FS45 only has 1 HP. I want to cut my triming time down by an hour... I would like to get at least 5 HP out of this awesome little trimmer...

Any suggestions? Bigger carb? Is there a big bore kit for the FS45? Should I port it? Or just toss it, and go to Home Depot and see what Rexy recommends?

I am at a total loss!!! Help!!!

Try Amsoil at 150:1.

Put a fized line head on it and some big line for edging...use it just for that.

Then go buy an Echo SRM-230 and enjoy pure string trimmng sex...Hell even a SRM-210 would be a big step up!

I wish Stihl sold stuff online... I asked my dealer about a muffler mod, and he told me I was retarded. That might be true... but I still need to trim faster!

Get a good hair dryer, preferably a commercial type like Lorenzo uses down at the salon and tape it to the intake.
Buy a really long extension lead from HD and you're set.

For shame Gary you are setting a bad example about"PPE" "PPE" should be worn before you even touch that trimmer."PPE" should be worn while purchasing. Kevlar boots full wrap chaps free standing debris shield, mesh screen, goggles solid face shield glasses and ballistic cloth shirt and helmet along with chainmell over boots and gloves. How dare you be so reckless about "PPE" posing for a pic. The "PPE" police will be coming to get you for not wearing "PPE" for shame. Remember wear your "PPE"

Pull the cylinder and replace with a mighty 361 cylinder. Just fill in any gaps with JB Weld. You will probably have to make a hybrid connecting rod to connect the 361 piston to your fs45 bottom end but since you will already have the JB Weld out no problem. You got them fly ear muffs so just leave the muffler off. Your weeds see you coming with that outfit and they'll be afraid to grow!
