what are the symptoms ? looks like it's got a case of fairbanks drumacosis, or maybe washeritis.

Hey Lee-

That's awesome! I'll bet it's a heavy sucker...

I saw a cherry one on ebay.de go for $800 a couple years ago...

Those big Danarms are the best saws to ever come out of the UK for sure.

Thanks Jacob, I'm into this one including shipping
for less the $200.00 from the UK.
It's really not that heavy or at least as heavy as others.
What do you think about the starter cup.
I don't have any to compair except for a Homelite
and it won't work.

The starter cup looks pretty straight forward. One could easily be made from a David Bradley starter cup from the models with the Power Products AH 47 engine. The bottom can be machined out from using the one central flywheel nut mount to the three opposing mounts on your Danarm cup. Fatguy could probably do it with one eye closed and a beer in one hand.

Lee, That's a great looking saw. That's the first I have ever heard of them. Good luck on the starter cup. Its a long shot, but it looks a lot like the one older Tecumseh engines had. If its the proper diameter, you may be able to mod one to work.

good looking saw Lee, congrats.

Looks like she has a decomp, which mine hasn't.

My impression of the saw was it's the worst shaker I have had in my hands so far. After a run I couldn't feel my fingers anymore.
Let's hear your story once you get her running...
