39* right now, was in low teens the past couple days. Supposed to get into the 50's this weekend.

4 degree F in NE Iowa. It's been about 8-10 below the last few nights.

11° at my place this morning, truck said 22° in town. Supposed to be snow then freezing rain over the weekend then warm up & melt sometime Sunday or Monday.

About 16 right now. Hit 22 this afternoon.

I shot this vid last night around 5:30pm... when it was 14. Watch the sawdust and my shirt sleeves... 35mph wind, too. CAD? Yeah, I have it.

I couldn't help it, I finally finished it and a huge thanks to dirt1 for hooking me up with some parts to get it going.

A refreshing 9 degrees w/ winds around 15mph right now outside and a balmy 73 in the house. Gotta love watching the slow swirl of smoke rising from the OWB and warm and cozy home to relax in, knowing my labor was well worth it.

I reckon you guys don't want to hear me whine about how it's 55 and rainy right now in So Cal, and it's supposed to drop all the way down to 47 degrees tonight. But now you know why I don't need to burn much wood, except for fun in the fireplace.

I've never resided outside of California; I think those low temps you guys are talking about would really kick my butt! Stay toasty...

22 this am makes diesels hard to start im in nj

Try -10 with -28 wind chill. I have spent the last 3 days tenting in engine and fuel compartments on diesel powered rental equipment and heating them with kerosine and propane space heaters. Pulling and replacing filters, blowing out fuel lines, replacing batteries, and jump starting stuff.

They get damn hard to start when it gets this cold, I dont know how people do it in the Arctics.

The coldest it's been here is -4 F this winter with the average temp about 20F.
And I'm only 50 airmiles from Juneau Alaska.
