If it's any consolation, it is COLD for California...I normally don't have to wear socks...

My office was 65 this morning, but it's up to 70 now, with no heat.

I ran out of seasoned firewood, and the hackberry, though plentiful, is still full of moisture.

But the important question is how do you drink beer before it turns to beersicle? And if ya do drink it how do you relieve yourself cuz my junk ain't showing itself when it is that cold.

It can be a little tricky keeping the beer drinkable. Ever have a beer slushee? Or a beer popsicle? Most guys around here use an insulated and heated fish house. Some even have satelite TV. Great little get away from the wife time.

Thats our forecast for the next few days!

Snowing here just now many of the main roads are blocked.
Back to work 3 days early to push snow around and grit.

Grit(salt) is in short supply but a boat with 2000 tonnes should be here soon!!!

I have NEVER seen the roads so bad its just a sheet of black ice for miles and the snow seems to be making it worse!
